Description

Powdered fruit with natural vitamin C and minerals. It helps the absorption and bio-accessibility of the active ingredients of polysaccharides through the digestive system.

Acerola is a low-growing shrub or tree native to Brazilian rain forests. Its fruit is similar to the European cherry. The natural vitamin C content of a ripe acerola cherry is 4.5%, which considerably exceeds the amount of vitamin C found in any other fruits that are also rich in vitamin C. For examle, the vitamin C content of a ripe and peeled orange is only 0,05%.

Our product is a concentrate of uniquely pulverized ripe acerola, which contains at least 17% natural vitamin C. Besdides vitamin C, more than 150 other components have been identified in acerola, including iron, vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin and magnesium. Due to its unique blend of vitamins and minerals, Acerola by far outreaches the cell protective and free radical trapping effects of artificial vitamin C products.
